First bus ride...

Since we went to school with Sydney yesterday, she rode the bus for the first time this afternoon. Barry takes Sydney to school in the morning, but she wants to ride the bus home. We feel comfortable with this since she rides with only the other kindergartners and not the elementary students because they come home after their half day. She thought it was fun and wants to keep doing it. Sawyer ran out to great her. Isn't that cute?

Sydney is a Kindergartner!!!

Sydney is an official Thomson Teddy! Here she is in the entryway of the school building. Her building has only kindergarten classrooms and a junior first grade.

Here is Mrs. McLincha. We are excited to have her teaching Sydney this year.

Sydney's First day of School!!!

Here is her table in Room 15! We dropped her here and went to the gym for a parent orientation with the principal. She got to know her teacher and they read a book.

When we returned to the room we decorated her pizza "book box". This was a family activity.

Daddy helped draw the grass and the cat-like dog. Haha. Mommy drew the trees and sun. Sydney drew her house and wrote her name.
