when a 3 year old gets behind the camera...
Yesterday morning we were being lazy around the house and I got out my camera. I had intended to take the pictures, but Sydney soon took over. Here are a few of her shots. She likes angles, i guess. I think the one on the top right is funny. My hand is in focus, but Sawyer and i aren't. By the way, please don't look too close. If you couldn't tell already, i had not yet showered for the day! :)

Watch me run fast!!!
Sydney woke full of energy. She exclaimed as I was washing the breakfast dishes, "watch me run fast!" It took me back to my childhood. I remember doing the same thing as a child. Except I was usually outside running around the house. I specifically remember doing it at my Grandma/Grandpa Little's house. We would try to run as fast as we could around the entire house. It was even better when we did it with sparklers in our hands and tried to make it around before the sparklers went out. Ahhh...childhood. No cares, no worries. Just running, carefree.
The water must have changed it's mind.
"THERE'S FOG OUTSIDE!" This was the statement that broke the silence of the morning and officially woke me up today. Before that I had awaken slightly to the sounds of the birds. It was wonderful. Our window was open all night last night! I was imagining that I was back in Maui and I didn't want to open my eyes to the realization that we weren't! :) Well, anyway, Sydney had gone to the window and loudly exclaimed her observation. I thought maybe the weather man was right and we had fog instead of rain. But, when I finally opened my eyes to see what she was talking about, I was relieved to see the sun shining brightly since I was hoping to enjoy the outdoors today. I did see the fog that she was talking about though. It was condensation on the window. And, she kept asking about it and talking through it. Finally, she made her own hypothesis.
She said, "The water must have changed it's mind."
Very clever, I think.
